    Food For Thought

    September 13, 2012

The inspiration for our company name comes from Psalm 34:5:

"Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed."

Those who look to Him are radiant...

When we were picking our company name, Radiant fit so well because what the word and the related verse imply has an impact on every Christian's calling.

We reflect the radiance of Christ.

So that begs the question, is there ANY room at all for us to do a lack-luster job at being that radiant surface? Is there ANY excuse for getting up in the morning and giving anything less than everything you have? Is there ANY opportunity to just cheat a bit on your time entries or short-change someone on work they need from you?

And from a communications perspective, is there ANY room at all to not be thoughtful, intentional, passionate and effective at the materials we put out there?

I'm not talking about excellence in terms of perfection. But is what we are doing right here and right now, our very best effort? Is it giving all that we have and can give to the ongoing project - or is it a compromise? And if it's the latter, are you compromising your ability to radiate?

It's a question I have to ask myself all the time and one that my job let's me ask others as well.

So today, are you ready to be shine? To be excellent? To be radiant?

    ...food for thought.
